There are basically two requirements to use the optical fingerprint sensor. First you will need to register the fingerprints - this means assigning their ID#'s to each print so you can query them later. Once you've saved all your prints, you can easily call the sensor and ask it to identify which ID (if any) was photographed.
You can register using windows software (easiest and neat, because it shows you a photo of the print) or with Arduino sketch (good for recording on the go or if you don't have a windows machine handy)
