This is a 4-digit Seven segment display based on the TM1637 chip. TM1637 chip is used to drive the seven segments and it can be interfaced with your controller using I2C interface. No more headache of scanning seven segments and using multiple lines for interfacing of 7-segment, now just with two lines you can interface 4 digits to your microcontroller.
